Local help for a family keeping someone home on hospice

Agencies on aging, 211, VA hospice and Missouri's hospice hotline, each number checked on its own official page in September 2026.

This directory is for one family at one moment: someone is on hospice at home in the St. Louis area, and the rest of the household is looking for the people who can help with the hours in between. Every phone number below was printed on the organization's own official page when we read it on 12 September 2026, and the page is linked. We do not print a number we did not see there.

What this page does not list: hospices by name, prices, or rankings. To choose or change a hospice, use Medicare's own finder, described below.

Private, non-medical hours

If the count of hours that fall to your family is more than you can carry, a private non-medical caregiver can sit overnight or help with daily routines, beside hospice. Medicare's booklet says the benefit will not cover care from a provider the hospice team did not set up, so those hours are arranged separately. The one company featured on this site, in a sponsor, is New Plan Care Solutions: call (314) 405-0887, or ask them to reach you. Tell the hospice team about anyone new in the house.
